With so many PTC sites around how do you know which is a trusted site? It is a very tricky area, basically a site which has been paying out regularly may stop and become unreliable. It is not possible to guarantee that a site will be continue to be reliable, however here are some tips to try and ensure that you can start off well.
First do check out the site carefully, check to see how long it has been around, you can do this by looking at the whois site to see when the site was registered. Sites that are new may not be able to sustain their payouts particularly if they are only displaying a few adds. Likewise sites that have been around for a while, that have thousands of members with only a few adds may be about to collapse.
Second check to see if the site has its own forum. If the site has no forum consider joining another site! Scam sites or sites about to go under always take the forum down as soon as the members start complaining. Check out the forum too on other websites, you can find them easily by searching on Google, these forums generally are contributed too by clickers so you should get a good feel for a site from these.
Next look at the number of adds they have available to click, with only a few adds available it could take 12 months or more to reach even a low minimum payout. A low number of adds on a long serving website with a large number of members should ring alarm bells. It has been noted that some sites only post PTC or 2 adds a day when they are about to pull the plug to prevent their members building up large amounts due!
Avoid paying out much money to them before you are confident you will get paid.
Apply for a cash out when you have reached the payout minimum, that way if they do stop operating they will owe you alot less.
